Carros de Foc is the quintessential route of the Pyrenees. This great classic allows us to travel through much of the Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, linking nine refuges distributed among the regions of the Aran Valley, Alta Ribagorça, Pallars Sobirà, and Pallars Jussà. It is worth noting that this is the only National Park in Catalonia.

The high mountain landscape we find has great richness and an enormous variety of flora and fauna. Water, with nearly 200 lakes and numerous rivers and streams, is the main protagonist. The natural landscapes encountered throughout the stages are exceptionally beautiful.
