What do we do?

Discover one of the most outstanding conservation projects of the Empordà Marshes with a guided tour that will allow you to get close to the northern bald ibis, an endangered species and the protagonist of an ambitious international reintroduction program.

During the activity, you will learn the story of this unique bird, the reasons that caused its disappearance from many areas of Europe, and the efforts being made to support its return to the natural environment. You will learn about conservation and reintroduction techniques, as well as the challenges faced by the teams working to ensure the species' future.

Throughout the visit, you will be able to observe the northern bald ibises up close while learning to identify their characteristics, behavior, and habits. This proximity makes the experience an exceptional opportunity to understand the importance of preserving biodiversity and natural spaces.

An ideal activity for families, nature lovers, birdwatching enthusiasts, and all those who want to enjoy an educational, participatory, and inspiring experience in one of Catalonia's most emblematic natural spaces.
