On the Montserrat mountain, the Hoods stand out; rounded and slender needles of solid rock where we can find a wide variety of climbing routes. Our proposal; climb the Frigi hood via the Carles route; 155m of route with moderate difficulty between IV and V+ (1 pitch). It is the first long route experience for many climbers.
If you have a higher level and prefer to take on a more challenging route, I have other proposals that may interest you; such as the Gómez-Xalmet route located on the Prenyada needle, ideal for the coldest winter days because it is on the south slope with sun all day.
The guide will supervise the activity at all times and lead the rope team from start to finish.
The plan! We will meet at 8:30 in Monistrol de Montserrat. We will drive up to the Monastery and walk 35 minutes to the base of the Frigi hood. Between climbing and rappelling down, we will spend between 3 and 4 hours, then we will take the funicular back to the Monastery.
We’ll meet here08691 Monistrol de Montserrat, Barcelona, Spain
The activity can be canceled 24 hours before the start time (local time zone) for a full refund. After this time, no refunds will be issued.
