What do we do?

Standing at 2,506 meters, Pedraforca is one of Catalonia’s most iconic and beloved mountains, known for its distinctive forked shape and deep cultural significance. Located in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, it is a natural site of national interest.
This guided hike starts from the quiet village of Gósol, taking the most accessible and less crowded route — ideal for avoiding the steep "Coll del Verdet" climb. The trail winds through shaded forests of black pine, crossing the Baga de la Tossa and reaching the ridgeline after the Pla de la Tossa.
From there, a scenic traverse leads to the mountain’s striking limestone walls, followed by a short, non-technical scramble to the summit of Pollegó Superior (2,506 m). From the top, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Cadí Range, Ensija, and the Calderer peak.
Descent follows the same path. A perfect adventure for hikers seeking a memorable, authentic experience in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees.
