The thread of history is an immersive tour that allows you to travel through the different stages of the history of Gironella, from the Middle Ages to industrialization, through a common thread: the world of textiles.
This route, designed to be done at your own pace, runs through the historic center of the town and leads you through six significant points that reveal key aspects of the town's past.
From the starting point, on Pont Vell street, where you will discover the traditional materials and trades, to the old church of Santa Eulàlia, the keep, the prison, the square of the oven and, finally, the thread of the legacy. In each space, a symbolic thread connects you with real stories, legends and episodes that have woven the soul of Gironella.
To start the route, you must purchase a card that gives access to all spaces and follow the map indicated. An ideal proposal for families, heritage lovers and everyone who wants to discover the village from a new perspective.
