Enjoy a complete experience in the heart of the Penedès that combines wine tourism, fine dining, and cultural heritage. Start your day at Vins el Cep, a winery with roots dating back to 1448 in Espiells. Learn about the union of four winemaking families, stroll through vineyards and forests, visit the cellar, and enjoy a guided tasting of 2 wines and 2 cavas (11:00–13:00).
For lunch, head to El Cigró d’Or (14:00–16:00), located in the historic Meat Market of Vilafranca del Penedès. Chef Oriol Llavina offers a creative take on Catalan cuisine using seasonal, local ingredients.
End your day with a visit to VINSEUM (16:00–19:00), the Museum of the Cultures of Wine of Catalonia, housed in a former palace and recently renovated to take you on a journey through 3,000 years of winemaking history.
